Staying safe while looking for a match
Practical safety tips for families using Vivaham — and the warning signs to watch for.

Matrimony for tribal families across India
Find a life partner within your own community's rules — with verified profiles, families talking to families, and safety built in. Free at launch.
Only for members of Scheduled Tribe communities · English and हिन्दी
Every member belongs to a tribe listed as a Scheduled Tribe in at least one state.
Every profile is checked against an ID before anyone can see it: 21+ for men, 18+ for women.
Parents and siblings join the search, each with their own login.
ID documents are never shown to anyone. Contact details are shared only when both sides agree.
How it works
Four simple steps, at your family's own pace.

The young person or any relative can start, each with their own mobile number and a one-time code.

The bride or groom verifies their number, agrees to the profile and uploads an ID. Nobody else ever sees the ID.

Same tribe, different clan by default. Your family can change the filters, and they work both ways.

When an interest is accepted, both families meet in a group chat. The couple can open a private chat if both want to.

For families
Marriage is a matter for the whole family. On Vivaham the family searches together, and the young person stays in charge of their own profile.

Community rules
Tribe, sub-group, clan, clan group, mother's clan, village: Vivaham speaks your community's language.

Safety
Vivaham must never become a channel for trafficking or fraud. Safety is part of the platform from the first day.
